Introduction

Welcome to Sierra Serpents! This website is primarily devoted to my hobby and second love, Boa Constrictors. Sierra Serpents is the name I have given to my collection of color and pattern morphs.

I had a small collection of boas, pythons and a variety of other snakes long ago. After years away from the "hobby", I found my way back in late 2000.

It is amazing how things have changed through the years! The hobby has evolved to levels I never imagined. There are so many wonderful color and pattern morphs. The variety and quality of equipment available today has made caring for our boas so much easier. I am really excited to be a small part of it, and the possibility of producing evermore beautiful boas is such a tantalizing challenge!

"Thank you" to Gray Rushin for his hard work in designing this website and his patience with me. This is my first website. The whole idea of it was a little overwhelming for me at times, however Gray walked me through the process and his guidance smoothed the rough edges!

Many thanks to my nephew, Lynn Bloomfield, for allowing me to use his beautiful scenery pictures taken in the mountains near my home. These were all taken impromptu on a drive in the mountains. I may be a bit biased, but I think Lynn has quite an eye for capturing the perfect picture.

I hope you enjoy your visit here. You will see mostly boas, with an occasional equine frolicking here and there....just for fun!

If you have any questions about anything you see here, please feel free to contact me.

Thank you and visit again soon.
